The first match chooses 4–8 colors automatically. Afterwards, use − and ＋ to recalculate the complete optical stack with fewer or more colors.

  • • Improved dominant-color recognition with center weighting and perceptual color matching, including better green and red detection.
  • • Added whole-image OKLab matching, joint filament/order/layer optimization, calibration-aware optical profiles, high-salience edge protection, and optional print-color dithering.
  • • Added a manual 2–8 color target so a finished match can be recalculated with fewer filaments and a newly optimized optical stack.
  • • Optimizes thin optical stacks for each image, supports a zero-layer base color, and uses 0.12 mm color layers with a 20-layer limit.
  • • Enlarged the image-first preview, added the selected printer build plate, crop controls, and clearer size warnings.
  • • Added visible download progress, color-change pause markers, and improved Bambu Studio project metadata and filament configuration.
  • • 3MF exports now use Bambu Studio’s default directional flush-volume calculation, including the standard minimum purge and safety cap.
